Laptop Information

Students in grades 5-8 will receive individual laptops to take to and from school each day. Devices will be given out the first week of school.  We need your help in reading all of the information below so your student is ready to receive one.

Birthday Book Club

The new Birthday Book club is one way students can celebrate their birthday in a special way and help our library collection continue to grow. 

Participation in the program involves a $15.00 donation per book (per child).  The book will become part of the BCS library collection. Most children’s (library bound) books cost between $15 to $20. The Media Center will subsidize any additional cost.

The Birmingham Covington Districtwide 3-8 School (BCS) offers a choice in educational structure and philosophy for BPS residents seeking a rigorous academic challenge. Its science and technology emphasis is based in Science for All Americans: Project 2061.
