Winter II Sports

Our athletic programs serve as an extension of and integral to the comprehensive educational program we offer, providing each student with an opportunity for personal growth, the development of physical skills, fitness, sportsmanship, teamwork, and the satisfaction that comes from competition. Through positive and meaningful experiences, our program helps shape the character of the student-athlete as a whole. We strongly encourage widespread participation in all athletic activities.

We firmly believe that there is much to be gained from being a member of a team, belonging to a group, adhering to all the rules and regulations of that group, and being recognized as one of our student-athletes. Sports can be one of the most fulfilling aspects of a student's education.

Here's what you need to know to be prepared to participate:

  • Sixth-graders are allowed to be full members of any team or individual sport at BCS. No seventh or eighth-grade student-athlete will be cut to make room for an underclassmen.
  • Specific details and information regarding meetings, practices and start times will be forthcoming.

Thank you for registering your athlete for our 2023–2024 Winter II season (update for the next new season). If your child is participating in a sport where cuts are made and your child does not make the team, a FULL refund will be granted to your original form of payment once final rosters have been submitted to the athletic office by the coach. If you need a refund for any other reason, please contact your athletic office with the request. Please do not dispute athletic charges. Doing so will result in you being responsible for any fees the district may incur.
