School Age Child Care (formerly Kids Club)

Birmingham Community Education's SACC program is a state-licensed before and after-school program. It is a service that caters to elementary-aged students who are enrolled in Birmingham Public Schools. This program aims to provide a safe, comfortable, and engaging environment for children from junior kindergarten to fifth grade, before and after school hours. SACC is offered at all eight elementary schools and BCS. Children will have the opportunity to engage in a variety of sports, games, computers, literacy, and free-choice time.

Operating from Monday-Friday throughout the school year. SACC offers various registration options, including half-days, as well as morning and afternoon sessions. It strictly follows the district calendar. It will commence the first full day of school in the fall, end the last full day of school, and only operate on days when regular classes are being held.
